Return & Refund Policy – CottonCat

At CottonCat, we aim to provide a transparent and reliable shopping experience. Please read this Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns only for products that are defective, damaged, or incorrect at the time of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • A return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery
  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition
  • Original packaging, labels, and accessories must be intact
  • A valid order ID or invoice is required

Returns requested after 7 days of delivery will not be accepted.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund, unless received damaged or incorrect:

  • Opened or used grooming tools (combs, nail cutters, brushes, etc.)
  • Cat litter, cleaning products, or hygiene items
  • Opened food or treats
  • Used toys or accessories

3. Return Process

To initiate a return, please contact our support team with your order details:

If the return request is approved:

  • A pickup will be arranged where serviceable, or
  • You may be asked to self-ship the item with proof of dispatch

CottonCat reserves the right to inspect returned items before approval.


4. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are accepted only in the following cases:

  • Incorrect product delivered
  • Damaged product received

Replacement items will be dispatched after the original item is received and verified.


5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days after successful quality inspection
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds are processed to a verified bank account or UPI ID

Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, unless the return is due to an error on our part.


6. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch
  • Once the order is shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted
